Reserves

Students: Find a Reserve Item

Faculty: Put Items on Reserve

What is a Reserve?

Reserves are readings/recordings that your instructor and the library have made available for you.

Books and scores on reserve are available at the Circulation Desk; audio and video reserves are available at Multimedia Services. Some items are available online.

Troubleshooting Online Course Reserves
  • For online reserves, all users will first be required to enter their Netpass to authenticate to the system.
  • A second, class-specific username and password will be required. This can only be provided by your instructor.
  • Password doesn't work?
    • All passwords consist of a an exclamation point (!), followed by six lower case letters (a-z), and end with a single numerical digit (1-9).
    • Check with your professor to ensure you have the correct user name and password
  • Only one page displays, or blank pages? Install latest version of Adobe Acrobat from ITS. If you need further help configuring your computer to play or view files, contact ITS.
  • Still having problems? Email reserve@ithaca.edu.
Loan Period

You can check out print reserves for 2 hours, and multimedia reserves for 4 hours. In-library use only.
