National Newspapers Premier
This database's detailed indexing will help you quickly find the news information you need. Each issue of each newspaper is indexed thoroughly, so researchers have access to not only top news stories but also the information contained on the various sections of the papers. The indexing covers not only complete bibliographic information but also companies, people, products, etc.

Statistical Encyclopedia of North American Professional Sports.
Provides statistics for major professional teams in baseball, football, hockey, and soccer, from 1876 to 2006. Includes the final league standingsfor the major sports; coaching changes; special contests, such as World Series scores; award and trophy winners; rule changes in the sports; and short entries on other sports and events. Historical information includes the background of team names, stadium size, team records year by year, statistical team leaders year by year, and other major team statistics.
