There are two sides to SubjectsPlus: The public screens, and the Admin interface. Examples of the public screens can be seen on the Ithaca College Library Website:

The A-Z Database list starts out looking something like this. (The A-Z list is a subset of all SubjectsPlus resources. It's meant to list just the subscription databases, but that's up to you.)

The staff list looks something like this. There are four different views: By department, alphabetical, librarians organized by subject specialty, and subject librarians A-Z.

You can select which items are "Best Bets" that will appear in a javascript popover when users first visit the page. (You can also turn this feature off.)

You can upload files to be linked from the sidebar, or link to outside resources.

You can link to useful call number ranges and/or subject headings in your catalog(ue).

And then, you can add freetext you want. (Requires installing FCKEditor for the wysiwyg option.)

People with SubjectsPlus admin privileges can add/edit/delete users, and control access to modules. Contact information (email, phone, title, department) is also managed here.

You can manage which librarian is responsible for which subject. (This will put their contact info and picture in the sidebar for that subject page.)

You can define the source types, and how they will be weighted. (I.e., should some source types appear higher on the page than others.)
