Recommend a Purchase

The library welcomes suggestions for the purchase of library materials from any member of the Ithaca College campus community. All submissions will be reviewed by a librarian for relevance to the library’s collection in terms of curricular and research support, available funding, and origin of the suggestion. Faculty should submit purchase requests through the appropriate subject librarian.

Preview Policy

The Library will assist faculty in locating contact information for previewing multimedia items in advance of purchase. Faculty should then work directly with the publisher/distributor to arrange the preview as individuals. The Library does not rent, secure desk copies, or arrange previews. At the end of the preview period, the faculty member is responsible for returning any physical copies to the publisher/distributor.
